There are a number of Mashups available for viewing. This one has a google map with a number of places tagged. If you select a link on the right of the screen you will see the location on the map and an assortment of slides,videos and sound will play. Quite a nice one.
Elluminate Notes Session 1
Today I participated in 2 sessions of using Elluminate. It was very informative and highly addictive. All of us in the group were able to use audio/text and the whiteboard. Interaction was immediate and the moderator extremely good at explaining. I will attempt to provide a link to the powerpoint notes from the whiteboard.
Whilst we didn’t succeed in the Elluminate session I have since had a look at it through Southern Cross University. I provide a link to the information page hopefully it should work (given I accessed with a staff code)

This is a ‘Google Earth’ image of our property. It gives us a fairly clear view of the house and all the hundreds of trees we have planted. Our property includes a creek and a number of paddocks for our miniature horses. We are very proud of our driveway – a spectacular row of Fig trees we planted some 5 years ago. Try zooming out and see Ballina and the coast – which we can see from the back of our property.
For a while there I was going to call this problomatic! I certainly have spent enough time recording and re-recording a podcast. I had all sorts of trouble with the sound. But here is my ‘First attempt at using podomatic’
Today I signed up and used Google Reader. I subscribed to Technology Papers and then added my Blog. I also tried to add the University Blog but unfortunately it doesn’t have the RSS feed. I am starting to make sense of all this now !
