Summary: 

Social Software and Web 2.0 is a ‘new technological’ concept for all educational organisations. The technological changes and new dimensions in education associated with social software and Web 2.0 have seen an entirely different educational paradigm being formed. Students are provided with more flexibility and a much richer learning environment. Student’s roles have changed from passive to interactive.
